The Price of Gold in Pakistan Reaches Rs. 202,000 for Tola | Latest Update
After two cuts, nearly Rs. 5,000 per tola on Saturday to end the week at Rs. 202,000 in number. According to data released by the All- Pakistan Gold Gems and Jewelery Association (APGJA), the price of gold (24 carat) rose from Rs. 4,900 per tola to Rs. 202,000, while the price of 10 grams registered an increase of Rs. 4,201 to close at Rs. 173,182 in the country. Traders released the price of the precious metal on October 10 (Tuesday) after it stagnated for almost a month. On Tuesday, the price of gold (24 carat) was Rs. 199500 per annum. Gold prices rose from Rs. 5,500 per tola to reach Rs. 205,000 in number. However, on Thursday, gold prices fell from Rs. 7,800 per tola and down from Rs. 100 on Friday. This means that the price of gold has increased from Rs. 2500 per tola in the current week. It is important to mention here that customers have adopted a new pricing system for gold where its price is determined based on interbank trading .
